The Fleur de Lis by Lincoln Manufacturing Co.
Circa 1934-1935
"The graceful charm and rich colorings of our Fleur-de-Lis Group have made these fixtures continuously popular ever since their introduction to Sears customers" ... and you know for a selling price of just under $4.00 in 1935, those customers expected a lot for their money.
This fixture is outstanding, called the 2-Light Drop measuring 13 inches in diameter with a drop of up to 36.
The glassware are a beautiful peach and create a softly diffused indirect light of a warm, beautiful nature. This fixture has been re-wired and re-furbished, the finish being a very nice polished silver color. The glassware is at least period if not original to the piece (I have owned it the last 8 or so years), and I have seen a few period replacement globes for this line available on the internet at a price of about $200 each.
It is in perfect, ready to hang condition.
The reserve on this auction is lower than the current retail value of $1100. It will come to you packaged with the greatest of respect and care to insure its safety.
Also, the winner of this auction will receive a copy (not the original) of the pages of the 1935 Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog featuring the Fleur di Lis Group, and others.
Please, if you have an interest don't hesitate to bid...because sometimes even if the reserve price isn't met, I may offer to the highest bidder.
Note on Shipping: As the fixtures remain hanging, the shipping charges are estimated charges. Buyer must agree to pay actual shipping charges, (no charge for packaging, materials, etc.), and Im happy to work with the buyer to use the carrier and method of shipping he or she prefers.
.Any questions please email me.
And see my other auction for another Lincoln fixture. If you have interest in both pieces, please email me and I'll be happy to negotiate a price for both.
