Description :
You are bidding on a fabulous Eames-Era Kodawood clamshell chair set. This set is FANTASTIC with two low orange clamshell chairs on a raised platform with a built-in Formica board between them for refreshments.
The chairs are made with a curved wood frame covered with orange Naugahyde upholstery. Each chair is attached and held in place on the platform by a wooden dial.
It appears to have had three chairs at one time, but the middle chair was replaced with a white Formica serving era.
This is the ultimate in mid-century modern furniture.
The piece retains its original "Kodawood" of Miami tags. Finn Juhl, the Danish designer icon designed many of Kodawood's pieces.
66" long x 25" deep. The seat height from floor 17".
Condition:
- Very Good vintage Condition
- One slight (1/2") nick on edge of Naugahyde
- Slight surface wear to wood...nothing major.
