Illumuninated pages of a 19th Century Arabic Koran with 14K gold illumination ,written in a very fine Nasih script on "Durable" paper, 230 x183 mm.Sura endings illuminated in gold and verses are framed in gold. A gold Sura bar with title written in white ink is shown on the Gallery photo.All of the gold illumination is still present,there are 3 ink smudges,otherwise the leaves are in excellent condition as shown. These pages were written by a mastercraftsman caligrapher and are an art objects in their own right.Please check my shipping costs.They are much more reasonable than my competition.
