IMPORTANT! READ THIS! Shipping and handling of this item is $25.00. The shipping and handling fees are just that: meaning they are the estimated shipping cost plus the handling fee. The handling fee consists of my time and expense to obtain, remove, clean-up, store, photograph, weigh, write the listing, pay the eBay fees, answer questions on the phone and e-mail (and I've had to answer some pretty stupid questions from folks who won't take the time to READ the listing, or don't understand how eBay works), invoice, collect, acquire or make a container to ship it in, pack it, ship it, track it, and leave you a positive feedback (I have never left a negative and hope to never have to). This handling fee constitutes the minimun amount that doing all this is worth to me. Therefore, my auctions typically have an opening bid of $.99. An experienced Ebayer never whines about shipping and handling fees. They simply demand to know up-front what they are so that they can add that cost to their bid to get the total cost for that item and compare it to what they would have to pay elsewhere. International Shipping- You will need to contact me about shipping arrangements AFTER auction close. I do not give international shipping quotes before auction close. Expect to pay more and you must also be a way cool person and agree to take me to dinner and let me crash on your couch for one night if I'm ever in your part of the world! :)
Local Pick-Up: I do allow local pick-up of any item. I will gladly give you the deduction of the estimated shipping cost; handling fee still applies. I will meet you somewhere within the Greater Fort Worth area for pick-up of your item. I will NOT tell you where my shop is! I've been ripped-off too many times in my life to allow total strangers that I meet on the internet a free tour of all my worldly possesions. Upon meeting, I will take a picture of you with the item, COLLECT TOTAL PAYMENT, and write you a receipt signed by you and me. This is necessary because an unscrupulous person can pay for an item through Paypal, file a claim with Ebay that the item was never delivered, and without a shipper's tracking of the item I have no proof the item was received by the winning bidder. EBay then zaps the money out of my Paypal account until the dispute is resolved and I'm left hanging, screwed, stuck-out, and pissed! I don't mean to seem unfriendly. Many of the very best friends I have are folks I've met online or at swap meets. It's just that we live in a world full of crooks and have to protect ourselves. I hope to make a friend in you!
