NICE VINTAGE HANDMADE STONE BOLO TIE SLIDE SOUTHWEST

This is one of a small collection of handmade bolo tie slides. They are made of various stones, such as agates, jasper, quartz, and geode slices and other semi-precious stones. The findings are either silver-tone or gold-tone with no precious metal content. These pieces are hand-crafted and the stones may show chips, inclusions and old yellow glue in places (the clasps, chain accents and additional stones are glued onto the main stone base.) I suppose any gold/silver chain around the stones can be removed and the surrounding area cleaned up, since the chains are glued on. I'm not an expert in this area and don't know what most of the stones are so please view photos. Based on the style of the bolo clasps, they were probably made in the 1960s-1970s. The metal clasps on the backs are a simple, older style. No leather or string ties are available. This auction is for the bolo slide only. Each one has its own charm and is a neat older handmade piece with lots of good energy!
Good-Looking Handmade Vintage Bolo Tie Slide. This handmade bola slide is made of geometric shaped stone background in colors of desert greys and orange-reds. The freeform center stone is in complementary shades dusty rose, and is high-domed. This handmade piece measures approximately 1-3/4" inches long by 1-1/2" inches across the widest point, and weighs 22 grams. There are no hallmarks. This vintage handmade bolo slide may have chips or inclusions in the stones, or edge-wear, but is in good wearable conditon and is structurally sound. Please see photos. This unique bolo slide would make a great gift or addition to your bolo tie or vintage jewelry collection!
