CONDITION: New recast of old style hardware or decor item. These are all hand cast. Some of the castings may be a little uneven or have grind marks from being cleaned after casting. Painted items color may vary A little from order to order or have ware rubs as these are handmade & rustic. Some times some of the unfinished cast iron may have a little surface rust from the moisture in the air but it paints over fine. Colors can look different from computer to computer. email any questions.

HOW TO FINISH UNFINISHED Cast Iron: Looks great with a can of spray paint on it or brushing can give it that shabby look (any color you like) . You can get that rusty primitive western look by getting it wet and letting it just air dry. You can seal in that rust look with a can of clear spray sealer sold at Walmart with the spray paint or A can of shellac and then the clear spray sealer.

HOW TO FINISH PAINTED PATINA Cast Iron: You can use it in the color it comes in. You can just spray paint it any color you like. You can dry brush a second color over it to give it that aged shabby look. You can just do a light spray of a different spray paint and then take wadded up newspaper and do a dry wipe. You can also do these tricks on the unfinished cast iron.
