Item Details Unique Stringed Instrument Zither Violin-Uke Violin Uke Seller: randemusic ( 119  ) End Time: 2008-07-12 02:11:49 GMT Bids: 4 Current Price: $20.50 Location: Kennewick, WA Time Left: 0 Seconds For More Details: Click here Item Description Unique/Antique Violin-Uke.  I found pictures of similar instruments circa 1934ish according to http://www.fretlesszithers.com  It is a bowed instrument (I do not have the bow).  The back is scratched up a bit, but there are no visible cracks.  Missing 5 strings.  I couldn't locate a name or label on the instrument, but it does have patent pending written on a label.  Instrument is gold and measures 20 1/2" tall by 6 1/2" wide.  From my grandmother's antique/second hand store, I received it from her estate.
