This is a page from The Times newspaper's supplement on Canada dated 24th November 1958.
At the top left is an approximate quarter page article regarding the fate of the national treasures of Poland held in Canada for safe keeping. The Polish heirlooms were moved to Canada during World War II. The sub headings in the article are; "Regalia and scripts", "Tapestries in Quebec" and "Possible solution". The photograph is of a Polish hussar's armour, 1683, against background of a royal tapestry.
The single page has been folded across the middle resulting in a slight crease line. It has been part of a flat bundle of old newspapers secured by string ties, the result is that there are small holes down one side. Other than that the page is in excellent condition.
This is from a very large newspaper, the page when open measures approximately 620mm x 453mm.
I will post in a cardboard sleeve. Please note that the postage quoted is for the page to be folded once across the middle as per my photograph, another vertical fold if requested by buyer would reduce postal costs.
