A leaf from an Ethiopian ge'ez vellum manuscript, a religious book written around 1735 in dark ink heightened occasionally with words in red ink.

Size of the original leaf: ca. 6.4" x 5.75" (165 mm x 145 mm).

Condition of the original vellum leaf: In good condition written on sturdy vellum with the customary traces of wear and tear for such a popular religious book: toning, soiling, spotting, or staining, minor marginal damage, original flaws in the parchment, etc. We will mention flaws that cannot be seen on the photograph.
