1st-3rd century AD. Length: 50 mm. This type propeller stiffeners was used by
the Roman legionnaires to decorate their belts and to keep them from curling.
Cingulum is the name of the Roman military belt. Heavily decorated with metal
ornaments and designed to hold the sword gladius and dagger pugio.
They are original, old and belong to my private collection.
